BitePods

Clip any YouTube podcast to the second

Paste a YouTube video, a show's playlist or its channel. Mark the exact seconds, and share a link that plays just that part, in YouTube's own player.

Works with Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, and any RSS feed or MP3 link. No account needed.

How to clip a YouTube podcast

  1. 1

    Copy the video's link

Any YouTube link works: a video, a youtu.be short link, a Short, a live stream's replay. A playlist or a channel opens as a list of episodes to pick from.

  2. 2

    Paste it above

The video opens in YouTube's own player, with its chapters under the editor when the video has them.

  3. 3

    Mark the moment and share

Drag the two ends or type the times, then Clip it. The link plays from your start and stops at your end, and unfurls with the video's thumbnail where you post it.

Good to know

  • No re-upload

A bite is the video itself, played from YouTube between your two times. The view counts for the channel.

  • Some videos only play on YouTube

Videos the channel has marked as no-embed, and age-restricted ones, can't play anywhere else, so they can't be clipped.

  • Audio too

When the show also has an audio feed, you can switch to it, clip the sound, and download the moment as an MP3.

Questions

How do I clip part of a YouTube podcast?

Paste the video's link into BitePods, drag the two ends to the moment or type the start and end times, then press Clip it and copy the link. It plays just that part, in YouTube's own player.

How is this different from YouTube's own Clip button?

YouTube's Clip button is limited to 60 seconds, needs a signed-in account, and doesn't appear on every video. A bite can be any length, needs no account, and works on any video that can be embedded.

Can I clip from a whole channel or playlist?

Yes. Paste the channel or playlist link and pick the episode from the list; a podcast published to YouTube is usually a playlist.

Is it free?

Yes, with no sign-up and no watermark. Nothing is downloaded or re-hosted.
